About the Amiri Guard
The General Directorate of the Amiri Guard is responsible for protecting and securing His Highness Ruler of Sharjah, his family members, and guests at the place of residence and during their traveling and existing; securing and protecting important facilities belonging to HH the Ruler of Sharjah, the government headquarters, and the related facilities; and securing official occasions and events attended by His Highness, the wife of His Highness and/or HH Crown Prince. In addition, the General Directorate carries out special military ceremonies, help and the leadership in the implementation and extending of security in the society.
1. Procedures for issuing a new permit/renewing expired permits
- Companies are required to register on the Platform to be able to log in with a username and password.
- Filling out all fields and attaching the required documents.
- The General Directorate receives a notification of submitting a permit request via the Platform.
- All documents are verified and in the event of a lack of any required document, a notification will be sent to the company to send such documents.
- If the requirements are met, the request will be approved, and then a notification will be sent to inform the company that the permit is ready.
2. Required Documents
- A letter sent by the company to the General Directorate of the Amiri Guard with the type of permit request.
- A list with the names of the workers for whom the entry permits are to be issued.
- A copy of passport and identity card (both sides) with a photograph of each individual for whom the entry permit is to be issued.
3. Duration
- Two working days.
